Paroxysmal torticollis
WebBenign paroxysmal torticollis (BPT) begins during infancy and early childhood. Children with BPT presents with repeated attacks of head tilting (torticollis) with side switching between attacks. The attacks tend to occur with a certain predictable pattern (ex. monthly). This condition may be associated with delay in development. WebTORTICOLLIS. One of the early common, non-acute symptoms that has presented in a number of children with a TANGO2 mutation is benign paroxysmal torticollis (BPT). Other names for this may be neck tilt or head tilt. BPT typically manifests as a head tilt to one side for a few hours or days. It may not be affected by sleep.
