The very first Inveraray Castle was built in the 1400’s, but the current structure was built to replace the older building. The foundation stone of Inveraray Castle was laid in 1746. WebHi. I would say at least 1 hour in the castle if you like to stop and read the information and 30 - 45 minutes in the gardens if you enjoy gardens.
