WebToday I wanted to start playing ds2 sotfs, but when it told me to press start to start the game, my controller inputs weren't recognized. Steam says it recognizes my controller and ds1 still works, but I just cannot get ds2 to work with my controller. I also tried ds4windows and hiding my controller, but that didn't work either. WebJan 12, 2024 · The trick seems to be, get steam to recognise the controller as a playstation controller, it presents it to games as xinput 360 controller and everything works fine, unless the game has native DirectInput support which I’m pretty sure dark souls doesn’t.
